State Science Fairs

IEEE Hawaii presented special awards for outstanding projects related to Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Senior Research projects are grades 9-12 and Junior Research projects are grades 6-8.

50 years ago, John Borland was a winner at the Hawaii State Science Fair, representing Radford High School.

The 69th Hawaii State Science & Engineering Fair on April 2, 2026 at the Blaisdell Center. This year there were 320 student participants from grades 6-12 who presented 248 poster projects.
